Inspired by the beloved Crucci Butterfly Mohair of years past, Crucci Nimbus is a beautifully reimagined 12ply mohair blend designed for today’s knitters. It retains that signature fluffiness and softness you remember—light, airy, and effortlessly luxurious.

Nimbus is crafted from a premium blend of 75% New Zealand Mohair, 20% Australian Merino, and 5% Polyamide, giving it both warmth and strength while maintaining a delicate halo effect.

With an impressive 135 metres per 50g ball, Nimbus offers excellent value thanks to its high mohair content—meaning a simple garment can be completed with approximately 4 balls.

Its versatility makes it a joy to work with. The recommended tension is only a guide, as Nimbus adapts beautifully to a range of needle sizes. Use larger needles for an airy, lightweight fabric, or smaller needles for a more structured, dense finish.
