KNITTING PATTERN

A hood with a long garter stitch striped tie, great for those windy day walks.

Knitted in 8ply/DK yarn on 4mm (6 US) needles 


TENSION: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm [4 ins] over stst on 4 mm [6 US] needles.

Average size adult - 53 cm (21 ins)

MATERIALS:

Recommended yarn - 8ply Merino

MC – Light Grey   2 50gm balls

C1 – Red              1  50gm balls

C2 – Cream          1  50gm balls

C1 – Black            1  50gm balls

One set each size 3.25 mm (3 US) and 4 mm (6 US) needles or one set each size 3.25 mm (3 US) and 4 mm (6 US) double pointed needles and one large vintage button.
